Man, I hasn't posted here in a while. Too dang late at night now. I'll just say some random shit: Erin and I have joined the metaverse on facebook. I'm not proud, and it's kinda like being that old guy at the rave, but it does have some neat scrabble functionality, and I've already seen some of my friends from distant (and not-so-distant) places on there. So, OK.

There's something kinda pathetic about playing scrabble with your wife online, with each of you on your respective laptops, and you both also sitting in the same room.

Modern Life.

OH. Also, saw an awesome Chuck Close exhibit today. Incredible. This was all printmaking stuff. Crazy. 128-color silkscreens, 12-pass linoleum prints larger than I am...crazy. I couldn't believe some of the stuf. Some ukio-e woodblock prints that took 3 years for the printer to make. Just a great combination of art and craft.

Tried to make it a car-free day today too. Took max downtown and back. We decided it's not really $ efficient though, for tow people. Cost $7 to get to twon and back.

Dinner tonight was at the fabulous Papa Haydn's in SE. The chef was from Bismarck of all places. So of course he and Erin knew a bunch of the same people. Jim told me somebody else in that kitchen went to Reed HS. Small world.
