I'm sorry to keep posting stuff I find on reddit or whatever, but I just can't resist this one. I guess partly because of record envy. I'm trying to start buying records again, but it's...difficult. Partly because I'm more like a grown up now, so I'm not that interested in old scratched copies of Aerosmith albums, but paying $10 for Pink Floyd still hurts, even if it's in nearly new condition and comes in a plastic dust cover.

The images from Bad Astronomy bring tears to the eyes of a geek like me. Really. It's just that, no matter how fucked up this world is, or can be, or is becoming or whatever, the universe is still beautiful beyond description. And we're a part of this thing, and we can see it and experience it. And there are mysteries within mysteries. Here on earth as it is in heaven.
