Gave Kino the herbal remedy last night, and then cranked up the tunes for her. I should have played some "Axis: Bold as Love" for her, because it has that crazy swirling sound, man, but I wanted to keep her trip pretty mellow, so stuck mostly with the Cocteau Twins.

She did okay with this stuff, which is mostly tryptophan, but getting her to eat a pill took most of the evening and involved my hand being covered in lots of slobber. A battle of the wills, which I won with sneakiness. After trying to embed the drug in cheese, pork, and cheese-and-pork, and after trying to hold her mouth shut to make her swallow, I decided to smash the pills into powder and mix with a good deal of wet dog food. Which of course I should have done from the start. Anyways, she ate it, and stayed fairly mellow but not drugged.

Tonight will no doubt be a challenge, and tomorrow...

Sorry, Kiko. Too terrified to reply right now. Gotta go run around in fear for a bit. I'll TTYL.
