Hey, sorry I haven't been posting in here a lot. I've been putting more time into my work blog...but only I can see that. It's private. The wedding date is rushing towards us. I may start to freak out soon. After many years of living in this body I've learned a thing or two about how I handle big days like this, and I can feel the undertow of importance beginning to pull at me from under the surface waters of sublimation. Wait, that metaphor is backwards. This weekend I'll make mix CDs. That is my goal.

Erin and I have also begun to, in a sidelong way, look at houses, though none have looked back at us in quite the right way yet. Still, for someone who's biggest purchase in life has been a used car, even the merest step in this direction is scary. I can feel the strong current here, too. "Just looking" quickly turns into "must have."

OK. Back to work writing. Big presentation on Thursday. Lucky for me I'll have new glasses! Yeah! Can't wait to pick 'em up!
