Went over to Jim's house last night, for the second night in a row. I think I got kid overload. Of course the night previous there were somewhere between seven and three hundred children there. Seriously, Erin and I tried to count but couldn't. I think after three kids the next number is just "many".
Last night Janelle was there with her new child, who is very cute. Actually, everyone was being very cute last night. Quinn and Roary were pretending that they were animals at the zoo. A penguin and a seahorse. Jim remarked he had a small but unusual menagerie. They also played "toll booth", a game of my invention where I operate a toll booth, and Quinn and Roary go through it over and over.
All very fun, but Erin and I had to leave by eight. We were worn out. I really don't know how parents do it.
I dreamt last night I was running from a volcano. Mathew Lie-Pelke, who's name I've just mis-spelled was there, hiking on the very mountain itself. Lava ate through the glaciated snow all around us as we all climbed to the high country for safety.
