Man, this project at work right now makes me almost want to cry, but I’m too manly so I won’t. I spent all this time making this awesome (to me) “Hawaii” lettering in three dimensional type and hand shadowing. Tweaking the perspective and then filling the individual letters with pictures from the island like an old 30’s post-card. The client claimed to love it, but soon REPLACED it in an ad layout which the client secretly has done by his in-house crew, with some full-hack fuck-off bullshit that looks like it was done by a one-eyed four-year-old retard monkey with palsy. Now, to twist the knife, I have to use THIS version in all the materials I have to produce from now on for this client which I hope are not many.

This is... umm... your client... You didn't think I had the link to your little blog here, did you? I'll have you know it WAS my one-eyed four year-old monkey, and he is retarded, and he does have palsy. Maybe you should take a disabled monkey sensitivity training class. He's crying now, because you didn't think that his work was good. Well dammit, I do think it was good, Good for his self esteem. Good for monkeys with disabilities.
