I'm drafting a letter to the President which I plan to send to him this Sunday. I'll post it when I'm finished, but I'd like to encourage others to do the same. Then we can read each other's letters. I'd also like to encourage my friends and relations to, if their conciences demand it of them, take part in a local peace rally on Sunday. If you live in the Portland area, I believe the meeting will be at waterfront park at 1:00 p.m. If you live in Reno, meet at West Street Plaza (a.k.a. Brick Park) in downtown Reno at 11:00 a.m.
