Hopefully I fixed that broken image link, finally. Man, I need to go take some more pictures. I'd like to take some while skiing, because everything always looks so beautiful to me when I'm up there, skating on those frozen clouds. The problem is, I'm having too much fun to stop and get my camera out. I bring it though. Anyway, those pictures would probably be like the ones of sunsets. A failure of scale and pigment.
What I'm into this moment: peercasting. I'd like to set up my own station maybe. Also: learning UNIX. Don't ask me why. This interest will most likely pass in a few weeks. I keep thinking about installing a linux os on this mac, too. But I can't think of any good reason to, except it's cool.
Erin got me a whole heapa books vor vday, and I've been diligently reading them, setting aside all my CGI and Javascript manuals. Titles include: Death: The High Cost of Living which I love re-reading. It gives me geeky chills all up and down to see chipper little death enjoying an apple. The Tain A classic work detailing the exploits of Cuchulainn, whom I admit to knowing solely through the works of the Pogues, and of whom I am now reading mostly because of another of Erin's presents, also titled The Tain by The Decemberists. I've only given this one listen, so I'll probably go on about it later. Also included is Persepolis, a graphic novel about a young girl growing up in pre-revolution Iran.
I'm so spoiled! Thank you, Erin!
