A quick post, as I'm no longer in the writing mood. I need a few more beers I guess.

Decided not to go to Deqin, but instead to hike the Tiger Leaping Gorge. Alone. In the rainy season. With no equipment except my worn out trainers.

It turned out just fine, though, and better than fine, as the scenery was beautiful to a degree that made me want to chuck my camera into the gorge for it's uselessness, and the people I met were just great (mostly Irish, French, Belgian, Australian). I spent three days in the gorge, with one day spent day hiking. I'll write more about it later, and I even drew some pictures and stuff, so.

Today back in Lijiang for to do some laundry, gift shopping, before heading out to Dali.
