Went out to dinner with some teachers tonight. Not English teachers, though. Well, and one is the school's webmaster and not a teacher. And one is the librarian. But one is a teacher.

OK. Starting again. I went to dinner with some co-workers tonight. I'd told them about the Indonesian restaurant near the school so they wanted to try it out.

They may never speak to me again.

I swear that food is not that hot. I mean... not as hot as real Indonesian food anyway.

I didn't know them very well and they didn't speak English, so it was kinda difficult and my concentration slipped away after an hour or so... I like our librarian though. She speaks the secret language of books! I wanted to know how, since old Japanese books had no real spines, libraries were arranged. But she didn't know. Oh well.

And it was fun to hear the web designer's complaints. Very cross cultural.

I got a headache from trying to speak so much Japanese though. So I guess we're even. They with the mouths on fire. Me with the thunderstorm in my head.

Oh. Of minor interest. Had my students in UNESCO club read this. And they did it fine. No problems, except for a few words they didn't know. And also they read No-Sword's entry about kokuhaku to their great amusement.
