I've got house guests from Hokkaido paying a visit right now. It's Golden Week! A string of semi-meaningless holidays strung together, which, if they land in the right place on your calendar, make for good traveling. Which they did this year, so many folks is getting about.

I myself will make but one short trip to ninja town, one of the two homes of ninjitsu. There I will train both night and day on a post in the rain until I prove myself worthy of apprenticeship and acceptance into the secrets of the assassin's deadly arts. After rigorous training, my master will be mercilessly killed by a band of rogue ninjas with mafia ties, whom I will pursue to America for vengeance.

Well, that's my plan anyways.
