I had this weird dream last night. My navel was full of wax. So I started digging it out, but there was more and more wax, and pretty soon I was reaching way inside my navel to get wax out, up to my elbow.

Does that make me sound deep?

Anyway. Went to my school's bonenkai party last night. Here are some of the evening's highlights, some of which could be copied and pasted into "Japan Highlights":

1. Teaching my fellow co-workers "rockin' with Dokken" and the accompanying devil-hand gesture.

2. Kyoto-sensei performing some rockin' drum solos before falling out of the traps.

3. The janitor lady telling me over and over that we were "manga friends" (she found out I'm trying to read Inu-yasha, a famous manga kinda mostly for kids) and making me pinkie swear to invite her to my birthday. Repeatedly.

4. Singing "Got You Under My Skin" in my best Sinatra impersonator voice and hamming it up to all the people in the bar. While co-workers gave me the devil sign.

Today I will clean my apartment. Or may mighty Zeus smite me with a heavy grade three smiting thunderbolt of smitefullness. And then Lo! Will I have been smoten! Tempt me not xbox of Charybdis, for I am deaf to your siren's song calling me to your exciting shores of choreful foregetdom! For I will clean! Not even you, little Harry Potter and your mindless bubble gum words of wonderful daydreaming can deter this courser from his divine errand! I WILL SPANK THIS DIRT!
