So the stripes totally took me by surprise. I thought, well, I like some of their stuff so it could be a good show and I don't know, I'm in Japan so that'll just make it cooler which it did anyway. And then they're one of these bands that everyone is like "well, they *used* to be cool, back when I was the only person listening to them back when I was nine and living in Detroit and they were only 5 and they were playing on a toy piano in the sandbox, in fact, I like them before they were actually born but then when they were born they wer..." and then i stopped thinking anything except: ROCK. It was Led Zep heavy air guitar like you were stoned in your dorm room and nobody's lookin rock. Mix that with Sweeny Todd. Way better than any of their albums. And then I came home and made my bed and with one shake the sheet went perfectly over the futon, perfectly centered and wrinkle free like in a fabric commercial. So it was a good day.
