Yea! Internet at my house now. So you can expect more meaningless posts like this one when I get bored. Anyway, this happened again today, did I tell you this already? Where I'm riding my bike along and thinking, "my, there certainly are a lot of asian people here, I wonder what they're... oh, crap! I'm in Japan!" It's a weird feeling, and I know you think I'm stupid, and hey, I'm the last one to argue with you, but it happens.

Lessee, what else? Got attacked by some monkeys in Mino. There's a wild, no wait, "wild" animal park there; a habitat for monkeys. So this other JET and I went hiking up there. Beautiful area. See photos. Deep cut canyons and dramatic peaks. I spotted some nice looking stairs outside of town and at random we started climbing. I always think stairs are a good idea. They usually go somewhere cool. It's just logical, right? Somebody had to take the time to make all these stairs, so why waste the effort on something less than remarkable? Think of all the good things stairs lead to, heaven not the least, right? Anyways. These turned out to be a recreation of the "winding stairs" from Tolkein mythology; i.e. they never seemed to end. Through the deep forest they rambled, and as the green canopy grew ever more dense above us, blocking out that light from the sun which gives reason to our surroundings and filling in the space vacated with the eerie forms of the aged forest, we began to hear a noise. The screaming of a small child it seemed and yet it was not, unless this child be not born of human parents. And so forth. Anyways it was monkeys. Yeah. And first they were really cute because "hey, they think they're people", but then they took a swipe at my buddy and tried to get into our bags. Still cool though. Not all the monkeys are in the zoo. That day, I saw quite a few. So you see, it's all up to you. Or would you rather be a pig?
