Hmmm. So I can get a mod chip for my Japanese xbox for about $60, allowing me to play US encoded games and do all this other cool stuff, but I would have to disable it to play live games, which means I could only play Japanese games live. Or I could sell the Japanese xbox and get a US one, but I'm not sure if the Japanese one would sell or how much I could get for it, and then I'd still prolly get a mod chip for it... I'm in the dark.

Speaking of darkness, did you know that shadows on the moon are totally black, as there's no atmosphere to bounce light around?

And speaking of light bouncing around, I heard about this cool telephone system being used in parts of Europe that uses small, building mounted mirrors to bounce light across the city, like fiber-optics minus the fiber. Light-based wireless networking. Only anybody can decode it and listen in easily, so they're working on ways to twist light to encode the signals. Crazy.

And speaking of crazy, I think I'm slowly getting there. I need a vacation from partial unemployment.
